April is going to be a amazing month! FLECC PTA is hosting the first Muffins with Mom’s [ECC 4-12 FL 4-13] events following the All Pro Dad (APD) Breakfast [4-11]. Hi Everyone,

Hope we are all loving this winter that will never go away. I just wanted to email everyone with the happenings at school.

At Falls Lenox: Thursday, March 15th, will be the annual Blood Drive. Thank you to everyone who is baking something and helping sell. If you still would like to help, please consider stopping by and donate your blood between 330pm-730pm. Each student who recruits one presenting donor will receive an American Red Cross medal. visit redcrossblood.org use sponsor code FallsLenox to schedule a appointment.

 

At Falls Lenox: Friday, March 16th, will be our PTA Read a Thon event. Students were sent home with permissions slips inviting them to stay after school to read with us. We have over 50 kids attending! If you would like to be Read a thon help please click the link or email Beth Prather (bethaprather@yahoo.com)

Tuesday, March 20th, will be our General PTA Meeting. Please join us at the ECC at 7pm. We will be making glow bags ahead of time (6p-7p) if you would like to come early and help.

At Falls Lenox: Friday, March 23th, Bulldog Party Rock from 530pm-700pm. Lots of RSVP have came in! As always, we could use a few more volunteers, sign up ! We will have a fun time kicking off spring break together!

So, needless to say we are some busy people in March!

Thank you to everyone who helped at the Book Fairs and Right to Read Weeks this month too!

March 5-9, 2018

The goal of our College and Career Awareness Week activities is to help students make connections between skills learned at school and skills needed in jobs and careers. Students will also begin to develop some interests in career areas.

Below is the list of activities for the week:

Monday through Friday: Guess the career on the morning show

Monday: Teachers put the name of their college on a paper pendant and hang on classroom door

Tuesday: Teachers and staff will wear labels that indicate what they wanted to be when they grew up when they were little and students will wear a label that indicates what they want to be when they grow up

Wednesday: Students dress in college gear or school colors of where they want to go to college or trade school

Thursday: Your favorite stuffed animal travels with a parent to work and completes the below sheet about their day

Friday: Share your stuffed animal’s experiences at your parent’s job with your class and Third Grade Career Day!!
